Creating a dynamic group

In contrast to a general group, which pushes apps solely if you add a terminal to the group, a dynamic group pushes apps automatically to all the hardware in your Pax portal. There is no need to add a specific terminal to a dynamic group. Based on the hardware type of a dynamic group, the apps are automatically pushed to that specific hardware model (A35, A920PRO, A77). Please be aware that changing settings in a dynamic group affects your whole estate. Be cautious with changing settings in this group.

To create a dynamic group, follow these steps:

1. Go to Secure Retail and select the 'Group management' tab on the left side of the screen. 
2. Press the green + button and select 'Add Dynamic Group'. The following screen should appear. Fill in the correct information as shown in the pictures below (you can choose your group name).
3. Click on 'Activate group' and click on 'OK'.
4. You have now successfully created a dynamic group. 
5. Now we will need to add apps, RKI, and a launcher to this dynamic group. Do this with the following steps: 
6. Select the dynamic group you have just created and go to 'Push Task'.
7. Press the green '+ APP' button on the right and add the Rapyd Core, Klearly, ordering register and Air Viewer app by selecting them and pressing 'OK'.

9. Important step: now click on the Rapyd core app and scroll all the way down. And select 'Only Push App'. This makes sure when you update the Rapyd Core app, the configurations won't change.
10. When you get the pop-up, skip the parameter configuration and press 'OK'.
11. Now activate the app by pressing Activate on the bottom right. Do not change any push configurations.

12. Now you can see that the Rapyd core app has been activated with 0% success, since there are no terminals connected to this test account.  
    The rest of the apps are still pending (Klearly, cash register, air viewer).  
    This means that if you turn on a device, only the Rapyd core app will push onto the device.  
    To automatically download the Klearly, cash register, and air viewer apps, you first need to activate them. Do this by following the next steps:

    

13. Click on the Scanfie POS app and then click on Activate on the bottom right of the screen. Then activate the push task. This needs to be done for every app that you add to your group (so, in addition to the Scanfie app, also activate the Klearly and Air Viewer). After activating all the apps, your screen should look like the picture below:

    

14. As you can see, the apps show a 0% success rate. This is because there are no terminals connected to this group.  
    If there was a terminal connected to this account, the percentage should go to 100% after all the downloads are complete.  
15. Now go to the RKI tab and press the green '+ RKI' button.

16. Now add the RKI app by pressing the green hamburger menu on the right side and selecting the app. Press activate. 

    Important! Without a correct RKI push, payments do not work.

17. Now go to the tab 'Launcher' and press the green button '+Launcher'.
18. Select your launcher and add it.  
    A custom launcher with a PAX is a software interface designed to simplify and enhance the way users access and manage their applications and tools. This launcher includes the apps that are shown on the device and the custom background (without a launcher, the PAX will be cluttered with different apps you do not want the merchant to see/enter). 

19. You have now correctly set up a dynamic group with active apps!  

    Note: If you have multiple hardware devices, then you will need to create multiple group managements.
